What we collect

The booking enquiry form asks for your name, email address and a message. There are optional fields for telephone, venue or organisation, event date, event location, event type, audience size and preferred performance times. Only the name, email address, message and privacy acknowledgement are required.

Why we collect it

So that a member of Groove & Grin can reply to your enquiry and, if a gig goes ahead, discuss the practical details.

How we transmit it

When the form is submitted the information is sent by email over an authenticated SMTP relay to a member of the band. The site itself does not store enquiries in a database.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails sit in the recipient's mailbox for as long as they are useful. You can ask us to delete a message at any time; see below.

Who sees it

Members of Groove & Grin. We do not sell, share or hand your details to third parties.

Analytics and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. The only cookie the site sets is a short-lived session cookie used to keep the booking form secure.

Embedded media

Where we embed video from a third-party service (for example YouTube or Vimeo) that service may set its own cookies once you play the video. We use privacy-friendly embed URLs where the third party provides them.

Requesting deletion

If you'd like the message you sent us to be deleted, please phone one of the numbers on the Book Us page and we'll remove it.

Legal basis

TODO: before publishing, please confirm the correct lawful basis under UK GDPR (typically "legitimate interests" or "consent" for a booking enquiry form) and, if appropriate, name a specific contact for data-protection questions.
